Florida Supercon

I'll be at Florida Supercon this weekend from Friday to Sunday and I'm really excited. It'll be my first time attending a convention as an artist! I'm gonna be doing free sketches and I hope I don't screw them up.

Here's a pic of what I worked on this weekend. Dr. Strange is my friend Ed's favorite character and I drew it for him as a late b-day present. It's my second time using Copic markers and I'm really enjoying them. They blend beautifully but I think I'm gonna need some refills for this weekend.
Also, there's a new My Cousin Tony up so go check it out.

My Cousin Tony

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I have a web comic called My Cousin Tony and it's about my cousin, named Tony. He's got two friends: a cuban immigrant named Rolly and Steven, the creator of a comic strip called Funny Socks.  This strip chronicles and puts a magnifying glass over all of their usual activities: i.e. eating pop tarts, speaking with an urban vernacular, and checking out hotties. I'm also planning some guest appearances by Tony's sister, My Cousin Vane, and my sister, Jessika with a K, so stay tuned.

This is just the first strip in the series, there's more at

Spider-Man!

I decided to start off this blog with a drawing of my favorite character: The Amazing Spider-man!

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember and wish to someday become a professional comic book illustrator.  I have a web comic called My Cousin Tony that's about my cousin Tony that I'll talk about in my next blog. I mean the web comic not the g-... the guy too I guess. I'm hoping to fill this blog regularly with any artwork I might be working on from this point forward. Maybe I'll put some old stuff up just for us all to laugh at. So stay tuned!

I'm still a newbie at the whole Photoshop coloring thing so a lot of learning went on for this one and there is still more for me to learn. For the most part, I'm happy with how it came out.
