Coloring Process

Here are some details of backgrounds from my comic. In these screenshots I'm just playing with how I'm going to color the scene. The black and white screen shots are tonal sketches where I make decisions about the lighting and atmospheric perspective before I go into color.

Anger Fan Art

Saw the movie Inside Out this past weekend. Bravo to everyone who worked on it. I think it was an inspired piece of work. My favorite emotion was probably Anger, so here's a sketch I did of him for a fan art contest.

This is just me trying to develop a technique for getting a watercolor look on photoshop. Still needs a lot of work but I like what I'm getting out of it. Once I perfect it, I'll give a detailed tutorial in a future blog.
